Here is Greg in the 2011 Mustang running the last road course of the event at Nelson Ledges Raceway outside Cleveland, OH.

Note the fully working pace car flashers…can you tell the bit of stir craziness from lack of sleep was starting to take over?

Total miles when they got to Nelson Ledges was about 3185

2010 One Lap – Mid Ohio in Car Video

May 7, 2010

I believe this is Greg again in the AM session at Mid Ohio. Watching the video I’m very impressed with the layout and quality of the track. It’s got some great off camber corners and rolling hills.

When the guys got to Mid Ohio they should have logged about 2217 miles!

This is about an 8min video, but it’s worth it. It’s such a well laid out track.

2010 One Lap – Mid Ohio, Mustang in First Corner

May 7, 2010

Here’s a real quick shot of the 2011 Mustang in the first turn of the Mid Ohio Sportscar Course.

2010 One Lap – In Car Hot Laps at Gateway International Raceway

May 5, 2010

Here’s a nice treat. Looks like the boys scored a camera mount for the Gateway race.

I believe this is Greg in the Mustang doing the warm up lap and then all 3 hot laps. This one is a bit lengthy, but it’s a good view.

Total Miles traveled when they got to Gateway: About 1741 (in 5 days.)

2010 One Lap – Road America Afternoon Session

May 3, 2010

This is the afternoon session at road America on May 1, 2010.

They ran the track in the “short configuration.” This is the first time I’ve ever seen the track configured this way. They basically cut from corner 13 through the normal run off for turn 5 and then back onto the track at corner 5. This removed the two very long straightaways and hopefully evened out some of the cars that possibly has speed limiters on them. 😀

One thing I noted was how different shift points are from lap to lap.

2010 One Lap – Road America, WI Morning Session

May 3, 2010

This is the morning session from Road America on May 1, 2010. Enrique was driving. They ran the full configuration of the track.

Enrique Road America Afternoon 3rd Hot Lap

May 2, 2010

This is Enrique’s third hot lap of the afternoon at Road America.  The track is configured in the “short configuration.”  This is the first time I’ve seen the track run this way ever.
